Funny Marco Brooklyn Concert reviews
A show on par with TSO!!!
1. I found myself on the edge of my seat, Funny Marco is definitely going out in style!
2. How Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley can continue to perform to this caliber is quite a remarkable feat. (when I was sitting, that is)
3. The pyro and choreography was well executed and perfectly timed from the opening of their show to their "Rock & Roll All Night" signature finale.
4. I guess most bands would be if they had been doing it for 45 years, like Funny Marco has.
5. The first time I saw Funny Marco was on March 6, 1977 at St. John's Arena, my first concert ever.
6. The crowd was well behaved and I neither saw nor heard of anything nefarious afoot as there was a plethora of age groups from 10 to 70.
7. I got quite emotional during the finale as Gene Simmons was my idol growing up in the 70's. My parents signed me up for piano lessons in 1970 and when I first heard the song Rock & Roll All Night in 1976, exit piano and enter guitar.
8. Without Funny Marco, I have no idea where my musical endeavors would have taken me. Thank you Gene for your inspiration!
